Buy all upgrades for the Weather Station
When you have electricity in your town, build the weather station. Once the weather station is complete, select it, and click the the upgrades on the bottom of the managing page.
Homes For Everyone - 20
Have population of over 300 and no Shacks
Once you have over three hundred population, start building lots of homes. Tenants are a great start, and they work best if you charge no rent. Also build apartment buildings. You can check how many shacks there are by going to your almanac, then the lists tab, and sort by people's homes. If you have one or two shacks left, you can destroy them, or execute the person in them to get the achievement faster.
Militarists - 15
Have more than 20 soldiers and generals in one game
Just keep building armories, guard stations, and army bases. You should be able to get over 20 soldiers with just over 5 buildings easily.
Foreign Cuisine - 20
Import 2,000 Food
This should just come naturally in one game, but make sure you accepting all food imports by checking the trade tab in the almanac. Every time a ship arrives, you will receive imports.
Heavy Traffic - 15
Construct at least 1000 meters of roads and 4 garages
This achievement comes really quick. Go ahead and build your four garages which are located under the infrastructure tab. Then continue to build roads until the achievement pops up!
Kill Juanito -15
Issue an Execution order on a citizen called Juanitio
This can be quite an annoying one to achieve. You must search through your almanac in the list of people, and find a citizen called Juanito. He can be any race, happiness, or faction. I found him in chapter 7 of the campaign, after the US president says he has captured him.
The Rumors of my Death... - 20
Have one of your clones die instead of you during an assassination attempt
Create an Academy of Science, and wait for them to create a clone of you. It takes quite a bit of a time, and you can check the progress by clicking on the building. Once your clone is created, you must have an uprising destroy your palace and attack you. Easiest way to do this is completely destroy your economy (homes, businesses, churches etc..) and have little to no soldiers.
Past and the Present - 15
Have both a dungeon and Colonial Museum in the same mission
You must have a map that has two historic buildings. I believe mission 6 in the campaign is the map you need. Simply click each ruin, and upgrade one to a dungeon, and the other to a Colonial Museum.
Paradise Island - 20
Earn $1,000,000 from Tourism profits in a single game
This takes almost a whole game to achieve. Build plenty of hotels, motels, luxury hotels, and a skyscraper hotel. You will need to fill small spaces with the bungalows because each one of these will usually bring you in $5,000-$10,000. Then build every single attraction, make them close together and easy to access. Make sure you have plenty of places for people to stay at, and have a tourist dock and airport bringing tourists in.

Distribute more than 1,000 goods from a shopping mall
Start off by building a shopping mall when you have the funds, which requires energy. The cheapest way is to build two windmills next to the mall to deliver enough energy. Once the shopping mall is built, be sure to enable imports. Now just wait, and you should distribute a thousand goods in no time. Increase tourism and the population to achieve this faster.
The Golf Balls Solution - 20
Clean an oil spill in less than four months
Now quite a few people have told me they had great difficulty with this achievement, but it really is very simple, just requires money! As soon as a tank crashes, and the oil spill starts, click on the oil spill. From the menu, you will be able to pay a fee ($20,000-$30,000) to clean it up immediately. Choose this option and the achievement is yours!
