Another Hitman Game in the Making

It seems that Square Enix is already working another title for the Hitman series. According to Siliconera. a trademark was just registered in the name of Hitman: Profession by Square Enix Europe. Don't forget that Hitman: Absolution is supposed to be released sometime in 2012. Check out the trailer for it below.

Twisted Metal Cover Art Released

The next part in the highly anticipated series, Twisted Metal, is right around the corner with a release date of  02/14/. The Twisted Metal game has stuck to the basic characters, but with a new appeal. The game is mostly based online, with each player choosing their own faction. We already know that one of the factions are Sweet Tooth, the ice cream truck murderer.

You can find a lot more information from the games creator himself, David Jaffe, with a video he has posted on the Playstation Network Blog.

Jaffe, according to IGN's recent update, Twisted Metal is also going to include a voucher to receive Twisted Metal Black, the original Playstation 2 game from the shop absolutely free! I'll take that!

EA releases Grand Slam Tennis 2 cover

EA Sports, has given us three different athletes on the cover of their latest tennis hit, Grand Slam Tennis 2.

On the left we have the 2000s Russian champ, Maria Sharapova, in the middle is 1970s champion, John McEnroe, and on the right is the current champion Novak Djokovic.

The game will contain over 20 major tennis stars, including a now and then gameplay option letting you be several players throughout history. Grand Slam Tennis 2 will be released in America on February 14th, 2012.

Gamespot posted earlier today that, Ken Balough, Sega's Digital Brand Manger released the trailer for the upcoming title, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II, and says they have listened to the fans on this Sonic installment and gave the game better graphics and a better physics engine. Also noted in the picture below, it seems that Ken actually has Tail's tail embedded as facial hair art. Maybe this is the hint that Sonic's sidekick, Tails, will return in this title.

Red Dead Redemption Goes on Sale on XBLM

Rockstar's hit game, Red Dead Redemption, is now on sale for only $29.99(a 25% discount) in the games on demand section on the Xbox Live Marketplace. You can also spend an extra five dollars to get the Game of the Year edition which includes all the DLC released for the game. If you have never played Red Dead Revolver or Red Dead Redemption, I suggest you pick this game up for this kind of deal.

I don't know about you all, but I'm more than excited for Blizzard's upcoming third part to the Diablo trilogy. It's been over ten years since Diablo II was released, and Diablo III's release is just right around the corner. Double XP weekend for Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Ubisoft has announced on the Assassin's Creed Facebook page that they will start a double XP weekend on December 16th at noon EST and end on Monday morning at 3 A.M.; so get your double experience while you can!

Also, be sure to check out the recent DLC, "Ancestor's Character Pack" which includes four additional characters to play with, and additional achievement for each one of them.

EA Sports have announced a new SSX game on its way to all consoles. It's been years since a SSX game has been releasesd, but I still consider the series the best snowboarding games created.

Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3 DLC drops! Plus Xbox Dashboard Update

This week Microsoft launched their new dashboard update for the Xbox 360. This update brings a whole new feel to the Xbox's dashboard while making it easier to browse using the Kinect. The update brings in the App Store which should continue to grow bringing apps like YouTube, Bing, and NBA TV (plus many more..) straight to your Xbox 360. Along with the title update, two downloadable content packs for two games dropped today:

Gears of War 3 - Raam's Shadow DLC

This is the first campaign DLC ever released for a GoW game. The DLC is packed with a brand new story based on E-Day (which was right before Gears of War 1), which let's you for the first time play as the horde's General RAAM, which if you're a huge gears fan like me, you'll be extremely excited about this.
Multiplayer fans also receive six multiplayer skins, which include the members of the Zeta squad and you will also be able to play as General RAAM also. Also included is the Chocolate Weapon skin. For the achievement hunters, an additional 250 gamerscore will be added.

Battlefield 3 - Back to Karkand DLC

Purchasers of the limited edition version of Battlefield 3 will receive this map pack for free. The Back to Karkand DLC includes four new maps (Strike at Karkand, Wake Isle, Gulf of Omen, and Sharqi Peninsula), 10 new weapons, and two new vehicles.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 is on the way

It seems that Sega is going to make another installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The game, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 has recently been rated by Korea's Game Rating Board which usually means the game is only a couple months away! I'm definitely excited about this!

Starcraft II: Heart of The Swarm Expansion Sneak Peek

 

 Blizzard's Starcraft II expansion, Heart of the Swarm, has finally been announced for sometime early 2012. As for myself, I am extremely excited about this expansion in the Starcraft series. Check out this video, for a sneak trailer of the Heart of the Swarm.
