Super Mario 64 DS - Rabbit Locations




As many of you fellow Nintendo DS players know, some of those rabbits are hard to find throughout Super Mario 64 DS. We've composed a guide to help you find those pesky little rabbits. Check it out after the break.

THE RABBIT KEYS

RABBIT COLOR: YELLOW

<<<>>>>
Location: Flower Bed, Outside Castle
When you start out as Yoshi, head off to the right, and there should be
a rabbit in the flower bed. Keep your eyes peeled, it blends in.

<<<>>>>
Location: Bridge, Outside Castle
Once you find your first rabbit, head inside the castle and then leave
the castle. There will be rabbit(standing next to two other rabbits)
right infront of the castle, near the bride.

Location: West, Outside Castle
When you are outside the front of the castle. The rabbit is located
all the way West(on the map) and is hiding in bushes.

Location: Basement
When you first enter the basement, head right and down the dead end
hall, and the rabbit will be standing next to Toad.

Location: Moat, Outside Castle
After you drain the moat later in the game, a rabbit is located down
to the west in the moat.

RABBIT COLOR: PURPLE

Location: Outside Castle
This rabbit is located to the left of the castle. It is standing in front
of the fence, near the waterfall.

<<<>>>>
Location: Jolly Roger Bay Room
When you enter the castle, head to your right and go into the Jolly Roger
Bay room, then rabbit is located in that room on the right wall.

<<<>>>>
Location: Castle Basement
When you enter the basement, head to the lava level picture. There it is
standing in front of that picture. Right next to another rabbit.

Location: Castle Basement
When you enter the basement, head to the lava level picture. There it is
standing in front of that picture. Right next to another rabbit.

Location: Moat Area
When you drain the moat later in the game, the rabbit is located in the
moat area.

<<<>>>>
Location: The Mirror Room
This Rabbit is located in the mirror room (where you enter the snow world)
It should be straight in front of you when you enter the door.

<<<>>>>
Loation: Third Floor
When you enter the third floor(the one that leads to the mirror room),
head to your right and go up the stairs to the start door. There is rabbit
at the top.

RABBIT COLOR: GREEN

Location: Bob-Omb Battle Field Room
When you enter the castle, go left to the no start door. In this room with
the Bob-Omb painting, there is a rabbit waiting in there.

<<<>>>>
Location: West, Castle
This rabbit is located in the bushes where you are at when you start the
game. This is a tough one to catch because of the maze.

<<<>>>>
Location: 8 Star Door, Rec Room
When you enter the castle head up the stairs and go to the right. Go
through the last door on the right, and keep going paste the character
and rec room, and then in the last 8 Star Door room, there will be the
rabbit running in a square. All you must do is stand in the pattern and
catch him,

<<<>>>>
Location: Boo's Courtyard
Head downstairs and then go to the courtyard. Right When you enter the
courtyard, turn around and double jump. Grab that ledge above the door
and double jump again into this little hole in the wall, there will be
a rabbit up here with no wheres to go.

<<<>>>>
Location: Drainage room
Go into the basement and then the room where you drain the water. Now
after you drain the water from the moat there will be a rabbit located
between the two pillars.

<<<>>>>
Location: Second Floor
When you enter the castle, head up through the keylock door, and up the
stairs, when you get up there and out the door, the rabbit should be
right in front of you and will run in big circles.

<<<>>>>
Location: Roof, Outside Castle
To collect this rabbit, you must first achieve the 150 stars, and then
go outside the castle near the water, the canon will be open. From
there, get inside the canon, shoot onto the castle, and there will be
the hardest rabbit to get.

RABBIT COLOR: BROWN

Location: Boo's Courtyard
Go ahead and head downstairs and into the courtyard. When you enter
the rabbit will be straight in front of you, behind the fountain and
pushed against the wall.

<<<>>>>
Location: East, Outside Castle
Now when your oustide the castle, this rabbit is in the North-East
corner. Sitting by a tree.

<<<>>>>
Location: Whomp's Fortress Room
When you enter the castle on the right there is the 1 star door.
Enter it for the Whomp's Fortress Room. Now the rabbit will be
located right in front of the painting.

<<<>>>>
Location: Basement
Head downstairs and into the basement. Go to the right and the
rabbit is located straight in front of the lava picture.

<<<>>>>
Location: Tiny-Huge Room
Head up to the second floor. From there, head to your left and go
into the no star door, which is the Tiny-Huge painting room. The
rabbit is located straight in front of you, or the north side of
the room.

<<<>>>>
Location: West, Third Floor
Go all the way up to the third floor, now the rabbit is located
on the west side of the room, and is up against a wall.

<<<>>>>
Location: West Upper Hole, Third Floor
This is the final rabbit. When you enter the third floor, go to
the west side of the room. You will see a hole in the wall thats
up there. Triple jump in there and grab your final rabbit.
